I've been involved with photography, publications and art shows for 40 years. In that time, the medium has come a long way from grainy Ektachrome with its blue cast to digital images that look, as one museum director described it, as if you're looking through a window.

Because of a strong journalism background, I enjoy producing artwork that's strong on story-telling, even if it's a fantasy. The feeling that the people who populate my photos have a history is important. Landscapes and even flower pictures can be evocative. Finding art in the simplest things makes it all worthwhile.
